Accreditation
Media interest in the LUCERNE REGATTA is traditionally very high. Media representatives are therefore advised to apply for accreditation at an early stage. Accreditation is handled online via the World Rowing (FISA) Media Centre.
During the LUCERNE REGATTA, accreditation is granted only in justified exceptional cases and upon presentation of a valid official press card at the Regatta Office at the Rotsee.
A media center is available to media professionals during the LUCERNE REGATTA.
The workstations are situated within a designated area of the covered finish grandstand, separated from the public zone and offering a direct view of the regatta course and the finish line.
The workstations are not reserved. Workstations with special, pre-ordered technical installations will be allocated by the organizers.
The TV commentators’ workstations are also located on the finish line stage.
Equipment in the media center:
- Workstations with power supply (adapters are not provided)
- WLAN access
- Copy service
- Drinks and snacks
Photographers are requested to wear an official media vest over their clothing during their assignment. This can be obtained from the Media Center for a deposit of CHF 50.
Without a media vest, access to cordoned-off areas such as the media grandstand, the podium or other media zones is not permitted. Photographers also require accreditation.
TV stations are requested to contact the host broadcaster Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen (SRF) directly.
