In just 500 days, Lucerne will welcome the World Rowing Championships. From 23 to 29 August 2027, the Rotsee will once again become the stage for world-class rowing, drawing the attention of the international rowing community to one of the sport’s most prestigious venues. The championships will be a major international sporting event for Lucerne, combining elite competition, emotion and the unique setting of the city and the lake.

World Rowing Championships 2027 seeking Swiss clubs to host training camps

The 2027 World Rowing Championships will take place at the Rotsee in Lucerne. As the host nation, we want to enable as many teams as possible to prepare ideally for this major regatta.
