Tickets & Entry

Experience the LUCERNE REGATTA up close. With a grandstand ticket, you can enjoy the best view of the regatta course from the weatherproof main grandstand. Tickets are conveniently available from the official ticket store.

Even without a grandstand ticket, a visit is well worthwhile: large sections of the lakeside path are freely accessible and offer excellent views of the racing action.

By purchasing the official wristband, you can support the LUCERNE REGATTA and the Swiss Sports Aid Foundation at the same time. Wristbands are available from CHF 10.– at all sales stands. CHF 1.– from every wristband, together with your voluntary donation, goes directly to the athletes of the Swiss national team.

Hospitality & VIP offers

Experience the LUCERNE REGATTA in a special setting. On the semi-final Saturday and final Sunday, you can expect exclusive hospitality offers with the best view of the regatta course and culinary accompaniment directly on the Rotsee.

From the pop-up restaurant on Saturday at the finish grandstand to a VIP lounge on Sunday near the victory pontoon, enjoy world-class rowing in an exceptional atmosphere.

Hospitality on Saturday

Experience the exciting semi-finals of the LUCERNE REGATTA in the pop-up restaurant on the finish line grandstand with a direct view of the finish. A culinary offer accompanies the race day in a relaxed atmosphere – ideal for enjoyment and top-class sport at the Rotsee.

The pop-up restaurant offers tables for 8 (fewer seats can also be reserved), a delicious 3-course menu and the Lucerne Regatta magazine for all guests.

Hospitality on Sunday

Final Sunday offers world-class rowing at its very best. From the VIP lounge opposite the winners’ pontoon, take in the A finals and medal ceremonies while enjoying an exceptional finals atmosphere, enhanced by high-quality catering and dedicated personal service. Ideal for hosting guests, partners, or celebrating special occasions.

Price: VIP table (8 persons) CHF 4’500.-

Lucerne is well connected to the Swiss rail network. The most convenient way to reach the Rotsee from Lucerne railway station is by bus. Please refer to the “Bus” section for timetable details.

One of the easiest and most convenient ways to reach the Rotsee is by bicycle. Bring your own bike or use a public bike-sharing service such as Nextbike to get to the Rotsee without having to worry about parking or public transport tickets.

FROM ZURICH
From Zurich you can reach the Rotsee in about 50 minutes. Take the Butzenbüelring to the A51. Then turn onto the A4, E41 and A14 until you reach Reusseggstrasse in Ebikon. There you take the exit 24-Rotsee. Then follow Reusseggstrasse, Sedel and Sedelstrasse. Then turn into Friedentalstrasse.

FROM BASEL
The Rotsee can be reached from Basel in approximately 70 minutes. From Route Douanière de l’Aéroport, join the A3 towards Basel. After around 4 km, keep right onto the A2 towards Lucerne. Take exit 25 – Emmen Süd and follow Reusseggstrasse, Sedel and Sedelstrasse. Then turn onto Friedentalstrasse.

FROM GENEVA
The Rotsee can be reached from Geneva in approximately 2.5 hours. From Route de Pré-Bois, join the A1 towards Oftringen/Rotkreuz, then keep right onto the A2 in the direction of Lucerne. Take exit 25 – Emmen Süd and follow Reusseggstrasse, Sedel and Sedelstrasse. Then turn onto Friedentalstrasse.

FROM LUCERNE
From the railway station, cross the Seebrücke. Use the centre lane to turn left towards Ebikon onto Löwenstrasse. Continue along Zürichstrasse and turn onto Vallasterstrasse. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Friedentalstrasse.

PARKING
On Saturday and Sunday, parking is available at Lucerne Cantonal Hospital – Car Park East. The fee is CHF 10.00 per day. The finish area can be reached within just a few minutes on foot. The route to the Rotsee is signposted.

Access to the Rotsee is barrier-free and can be reached either via Rotseestrasse (Maihofmatte-Rotsee bus stop) or via Libellenrain (Urnerhof bus stop). Please note that some of the paths to the Rotsee are steep. For further information or assistance, please feel free to contact us.
