Regatta

The LUCERNE REGATTA ranks among the world’s most traditional and prestigious rowing events. For more than a century, the Rotsee has been a stage for outstanding sporting performances and international competition.

The World Rowing Cup Lucerne features races in both Olympic and Paralympic boat classes. Across several days of competition, the world’s leading athletes compete in heats, semi-finals, and finals.

Para-athletes have also been competing at the LUCERNE REGATTA since 2023. With the introduction of para-rowing, the LUCERNE REGATTA’s commitment to promoting para-rowing in Switzerland also began.

The programme is complemented by the Talents Cup, a development competition for selected U17 athletes, as well as the Masters Trophy, an exclusive race format for ambitious Masters crews.
