Venue catering
We are pleased to offer healthy, affordable meals (lunch and dinner) on the first floor of the rowing center at the venue during the regatta in Lucerne. Please pre-order your meal tickets by June 13, 2025. After this deadline, only a limited number of meals will be available at the regatta office. Unfortunately, we cannot accept any additional „last-minute“ orders once tickets are sold out.
Team space
Various team space options are available in Lucerne. The spaces will be accessible as per official venue opening times. Note the following key information:
- available from 25.-29.06.2025
- One team space option is available per federation. See the options bellow.
- Space is limited and will be allocated by the OC on a first come first serve basis.
- Para-Teams: The team boxes inside the boathouse are fully wheelchair accessible. This cannot be guaranteed for all other options.
NEW: Pre-Installed Tents
- We offer pre-installed team tents on a wooden plattform (6x3m) for CHF 600 (cost price). Larger teams may book up to two segments (the separation between the segments will be removed offering a 6x6m space).
- Limited wheelchair accessibility
Team Tent Space:
- Please indicate your tent size so we can allocate a dedicated spot for your teams. (maximum size 9x3m)
NEW: Wooden Platform
- Should you wish to install your tents on a wooden platform, we are happy to prepare one for you
- Cost will be CHF 15 per square meter (maximum size 9x3m)
- Limited wheelchair accessibility
Indoor Teambox (boathouse):
- approximately 3.5×3.5m in size
- Free of charge

Accommodation
Partner Hotels
In light of limited availability of fully accessible rooms and increasing costs for accommodation in the city of Lucerne we have pre-reserved a number of rooms at the Seminarhotel Campus Sursee (***) and will offer a shuttle service between the Hotel and the Venue during the Regatta (including training days). The hotel has previously been used by some teams and is located just 30min from the venue in Lucerne.
We have also, as in previous years, pre-reserved a number of beds at the Youth Hostel, which is in walking distance of the Venue.
Please make sure to book your rooms as early as possible!
Seminarhotel Campus Sursee

Price and Services: The ***hotel offers rooms from CHF 80 per night per person (incl. Breakfast and taxes) and has a limited number of fully wheelchair accessible rooms. They are experienced in hosting large sporting events (including para-events).
Shuttle Service: Shuttle Service: A shuttle service will be available daily from June 25 to June 29, 2025 between the Seminarhotel Campus Sursee and the event venue. The detailed shuttle schedule, including departure and arrival locations, will be provided here prior to the regatta. This service is open to all athletes and staff members staying at the Seminarhotel Campus Sursee, please indicate if you plan to use the shuttle when booking the hotel. A fee of CHF 60 per person will be charged per guest using the shuttle service.

Low Cost Accommodation
We have also pre-reserved a number of rooms at the youth hostel in Lucerne, in walking distance to the Rotsee. Find more information about the youth hostel here: LINK. Please contact them directly to make a booking.

Please include a detailed address, the number of beds, the type of room and the exact check-in and check-out dates. There are rooms with 2, 4 and 6 beds available. Prices range from 50 CHF – 70 CHF per night per person. This is a youth hostel with most rooms having no private bathrooms.

VISA
Should you require a visa to enter Switzerland, you will need an official invitation letter from the organising committee. In order to issue an invitation letter for you or your rowing team, we need the following information from each person:
- Surname, first name
- Date of birth
- Passport number, date of issue and expiry
- Function in the team (e.g. athlete, coach)
- We also need the name of your hotel with address and the exact check-in and check-out dates. The invitation letter will only be issued for the booking period at the hotel.
- Please let us know in which Swiss embassy you will apply for the visa/visas in your country.
- Adress of your federation
