Lucerne, May 2024 – After more than 20 years, it is time to bring the 2027 World Rowing Championships back to Lucerne. Together with SWISS ROWING, the LUCERNE REGATTA Association will submit an application to World Rowing, the international rowing federation, in June. It would be the fifth World Championships held on the Rotsee. This November, delegates from national rowing federations will decide at the World Rowing Congress whether Lucerne, following the successful European Championship in 2019, will be awarded the hosting rights for the World Championships in 2027.
